Ordering FAQ’s

To calculate how many tiles you need, measure the area where the tiles will be installed by multiplying the length by the width. We recommend adding at least an extra 10% to account for cutting and potential breakages during installation. You can use our calculator tool on our website to help, or you can also contact us for assistance with measurements. Please note that if you need to order extra tiles, these may be from a different batch so may vary slightly in size or shade.

Yes, we offer up to four free 10cm x 10cm cut tile samples that you can order on our website to help you make the right decision. Simply click the ‘order a sample’ button on the product page and these will be delivered to your address within a few working days, depending on the postal service in your area. For small tiles, bricks and decors we don’t supply cut samples but instead you can buy a full tile sample for a small cost.

Check suitability, sizing, and thickness to ensure that the product is right for your application. Please give us a call if you would like to discuss this. Make sure you have viewed as much of the product as possible before placing your order to ensure you’re happy with any variations in shade, texture, and edge finish. You can visit a showroom, request samples (small and full size) and view images.
Please note that showroom displays, samples and images are intended as a guide only and unfortunately cannot show all possible tonal and texture variations.

All deliveries are based on your location and the weight/size of your order. We don’t hide any delivery charges within the cost of our products, so we can keep our tiles competitive and fairly priced.

Order collections can be made from our Yorkshire Head Office by prior arrangement with our logistics team, normally within 2-3 days notice. Collections are available between 9am to 4pm Monday to Friday. Arrival outside of these times will result in your collection having to be rescheduled. To ensure your safety, and the safety of your order, a suitable vehicle must be used for collections. We reserve the right to refuse a collection if we deem it unsafe to load your vehicle.

We carry a large amount of stock so in most cases your order will be available straight away for delivery. Once an order has been placed, stock items can normally be dispatched for delivery within 5-7 working days. Delivery of special orders, slabs, large-format tiles, and sizeable orders is best carried out using one of our specialist off-load vehicles, so timescales may vary. A specific delivery date will be arranged with you. If your order isn’t in stock, we will give you an estimated lead time for that product or we can help you select another product.

We accept a variety of payment methods, including bank transfer, credit and debit cards except American Express.
Your quotation has a unique reference number in the top righthand corner. To pay, you can call our Head Office or any of our stores and pay by card by giving your quote reference number. If you don’t have your reference, then we will require the billing name and postcode to search for the quotation. For bank transfers, these are shown at the bottom of our quotations. Alternatively, you can place your order on our website or pop into a store.

No, we do not have a minimum order quantity. You can order as little or as much as you need for your project.

If you’re not installing the tiles immediately, store them in a cool and dry area that is free from moisture. It’s a good idea to leave them in their original packaging to protect them from dust, dirt, or potential damage. Unboxed tiles should always be stacked and stored vertically but not on a hard surface as this can cause edge chipping.

Your goods should be unpacked and handled with care. Always lift tiles by the edges to avoid putting pressure on the surface and refrain from knocking the tiles together to prevent any chips or cracks.

The general condition of your order should be inspected on collection or delivery. In the unlikely event of any visible damage, please notify us as soon as possible.
With some orders we supply additional materials over and above quantities purchased – details of this are outlined in your paperwork. Minor edge chipping and slight imperfections are normal and often tiles that are slightly damaged can be used for cuts. We advise ordering at least 10% more than your actual requirements to allow for potential cuts and wastage.

Kerbside Delivery

Palletised deliveries may be transported using a wheeled pallet truck and will be delivered to the nearest accessible point (typically kerbside). If there are hazards or obstructions, such as steps or uneven gravel paths/driveways, the delivery may need to be made to a nearby alternative location closer to the delivery vehicle. Deliveries can be between the hours of 8am to 6pm.
Current lead time for deliveries through the pallet network is from three working days. Please choose a preferred delivery date, once we receive your order we will confirm the delivery date with you. This is not a confirmed date until we contact you. Due to factors within the haulage sector, there could be unavoidable delays, so we recommend allowing extra time to receive your goods.
